Welcome to the Victorian Studies Association of Western Canada
The Victorian Studies Association of Western Canada (VSAWC) is a lively and collegial community of scholars committed to interdisciplinary research and innovative teaching about the Victorian period. Since our inaugural conference in October 1972, VSAWC members have gathered annually to share research, methods, pedagogy, and projects, while building enduring networks of support and collaboration. We welcome people from all disciplines and locations, and at all stages of their careers. In addition to hosting VSAWC conferences, our executive members edit and maintain the Victorian Review: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Victorian Studies – a peer-reviewed journal that publishes the best in international and interdisciplinary research within the field of Victorian Studies. We hope that you will join us at our next conference and consider submitting your work to the Victorian Review.
